Our specialist primary care team helped Avicenna Medical Centre appeal against their Notional Rent assessment from NHS Wales. We undertook a free initial assessment followed by a detailed survey and inspection of the surgery before instigating a challenge to the Notional Rent on behalf of the practice.
Through the course of professional and constructive discussions with the Health Board Valuer (appointed by NHS Wales) we were able to successfully negotiate an increase in reimbursement in the following key areas;
Our professional representation resulted in a 7.4% increase in notional rent reimbursement for the practice and the case was resolved in just over 4 months from the date the practice sent over their Notional Rent assessment, to reaching a settlement with the Health Board Valuer.
